Amounting, in all, to the sum of one hundred and ten pounds, Halifax Currency
Personally appeared before me J. Muirhead Esquire one of His Majesty’s Justices of the peace for the District of Niagara, Mary Ann Bellinger, Widow, who made oath that the above property was stolen by the Enemy & taken by the British troops, and further that the above property this Deponent declares to amount to one hundred and ten pounds, Halifax Cy, and for no part of which has she received any remuneration

Personally appeared before me James Muirhead One of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace William Powers of the District of Niagara Gentleman who upon oath deposeth & says, that about the 20 of May 1813 he saw the first mentioned horse in the within Estimate in the possession of Maryann Bellinger & that afterwards in the month of June when the Deponent was a prisoner of war he saw the above mentioned horse in the Enemy’s possession at Luis Town.

Personally appeared before me James Muirhead one of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace John Bissell who being duly sworn says that he saw a bay horse the second mentioned in this Estimate in the possession of the Enemy about the month of November 1813, but Deponent has no knowledge how they came in possession of it.
