Personally appeared before me Samuel Wood Esqr one of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace in and for the District of Niagara, John Clendennin, who maketh oath and saith that he had one Heifer of the value of Six Pounds five shillings, and Six Sheep of the value of Seven Pounds Ten Shillings Currency Killed and taken away by the British Indians, To the use of his Barn for the sick of the Army for four months at three Pounds three shillings per month, use of the Barn 32 feet by 48 and that he never received any compensation from the British Government or any Individual, the charges for Barn made for Loss of Grain and weather Boards.
