Personally appeared before me Peter Ball, Esquire, one of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace for the District of Niagara, the Widow Sporeback, of the 4 Mile Creek, Township of Niagara, who maketh oath that the above property was destroyed and Taken away from off her farm by the British Troops and Indians, whilst encamped at the cross Roads, and further that value of the said property this Deponent declares to amount to one Hundred and fifty seven pounds, Provincial Currency, and for no part of which has he ever received any remuneration.
