Personally appeared before me Wm Hamilton Merritt Esquire, one of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace, in & for the aforesaid District, Mrs. Sophia Hainer, of Grantham, Widow, who being duly sworn deposeth, and said, that she had destroyed & taken away, during the late war Sixty Bushels of Oates @6/3 per bushel, One ton of hay @ five Pounds, one Gun Two Pounds ten shillings, and one hundred and forty two panels of fence at two shillings & six pence. Making in all the sum of forty four pounds, Halifax Currency
