Statement of property belonging to Isabella McNabb, widow of the late John McNabb, of the township of Grantham, which was destroyed by the Enemy, during the late war between Great Britain, and the United States of America, Viz,
1 Dwelling house, consisting of three rooms, Cellar, etc, etc, with Chimneys complete, and in a fit state to be inhabited, which was destroyed by being burnd by the Enemy, which the widow McNabb, Estimates at the sum of fifty pounds, Province Currency

Personally came before me James Muirhead One of His Majesty’s Justices for the District aforesaid, John Fletch of the Township of Grantham, farmer, who being duly sworn, deposeth that a Dwelling House the property of Mrs Isabella McNabb, Widow of the late John McNabb, Esquire, of Grantham, was burnt by the Enemy during the late War with the United States of America. That the House was twenty feet in width & thirty feet in length & was in a fit condition to be Inhabited, when Mrs. McNabb left it some time before

Therefore on Oath says the Charge for said loss is a moderate one

McDougal Esquire one of His Majesty’s Justices of the Peace for the said District, Isabella MacNabb, Widow of the late John MacNabb, who maketh oath & saith that her late Husband was dead before the assembling of the Board of Claims for Losses sustained during the late war with US of America; and that this Deponent was during the war Living in the Eastern District of this Province and that upon
upon her return to this District in Feby or March 1815 She did not know by whom She could prove the Claim for losses of property destroyed untill it was too late to send in such claim to that Board
