to Wit

Elizabeth Wright Personally came before me James Markham Esqr, one of his Majesty’s Justices of the Peace for the District aforesaid, and made Oath, that the Account formerly given in by her against his Majesty’s Government for losses sustained in the late War with the United Sttes to amount of Twenty five Pounds Province Currency is just and that she never has received any kind of compensation for any part thereof either by herself or by any other person on her behalf

Sworn before me at Chippawa in the District aforesaid this 9th Day of January 1824

William Cook of Niagara personally came before me James Markham Esqr one of his Majesty’s Justices of the Peace for the District aforesaid, and made oath, that to his knowledge Elizabeth Wright lost Household furniture & wearing apparel at the time the Americans took Fort George which in his opinion, and to the best of his judgment was worth twenty five pounds Province Currency
